The Employment Network (TEN)
TEN is a community outreach network for those who are unemployed and trying to re-enter the job market or, wish to change their career path.
The program includes one-on-one consultations, group discussions and presentations. A variety of different presentations and training skills are presented each week. The program includes;
- identifying your skills and abilities
- documenting your skills in a resume
- learning about the resources and the research tools of the community
- learning about job leads and where to find them
- rehearsing your 60 second introduction speech
- discussing interview techniques
- a variety of guest speakers
TEN is linked with The Alliance, a group of six other employment networks throughout the greater Puget Sound area. TEN is also directly involved with the WorkSource, part of the Employment Securities Office for the State of Washington.
This program requires no fees, no membership and no advance registration. Everyone is welcome. We meet every Fri from 10:00 AM until 12:00 (noon) at: North Creek Presbyterian Church, 621 164th Street SE, Mill Creek.
