Clearinghouse Operation

Request: The LoveINC Clearinghouse receives requests for help by telephone from churches and pastors, organizations, individuals and families in need (clients).

Analysis: The need(s) is reviewed and analyzed by Clearinghouse servants. The nature, extent, and legitimacy of each need is examined. Help the client already receives from agencies and churches is determined. Ensure that the need is manageable and specific.

Referrals: After the clients need(s) analyzed and verified they are referred for the appropriate assistance:

  • Clients requiring urgent or highly specialized help are referred to appropriate agencies.  These types of referrals could include medical, psychiatric, substance abuse, legal, or other services
  • Clients requiring help available through partner church ministries, servant ministry groups and/or agencies are referred.
  • Clients contacted by a personal minister who will offer an ongoing relationship.

Service: The client is assisted by a church, servant ministry group and/or agency and the need is met. Personal ministers remain in contact with the client.

Follow-up: Clearinghouse servants follow-up with the client and church, ministry groups and/or agencies that provided services.
