Vision of Our Community's Future

Our local community of Christ is unified in effective ministry to our neighbors in need through personal relationships, acts of service, and shared resources.

Neighbors in need are referred to the LoveINC Clearinghouse whose servant staff determines what is needed and calls our local Body of Christ into action. They also alert the client to appropriate humanitarian agency resources as their total needs are addressed. The client’s immediate needs are met by the appropriate combination of Christian service ministries as ministry servants provide needed goods and services in the Name of Christ.

Personal ministers, lay caregivers, are available to come along side clients in Christian caregiving relationships. Through these relationships a personal minister helps a client deal with life’s challenges while modeling Christ’s love for them. All personal ministers receive continued education in Christian caregiving and are part of, and supported by, an accountability group.

Servant support ministries effectively support all servants enabling them to be available to serve as God’s hands and feet in our community. All servants have received basic training in Christian caregiving and they naturally share the Love of Christ as they minister to clients using the gifts God has given them.

Our local community of Christ regularly gets together in Christian fellowship to celebrate the transformation of lives resulting from the giving and receiving of Christian caregiving. Active participation in Christian ministry is joyfully embraced as the community norm.
